With easy to follow directions, and pictures too, you will have fun along with your class.
Also, most of the supplies can be found in the church supply cabinet, so they will save you money.

Crafts for Children's Church Seasonal

The seasonal crafts would make great bulletin board pictures to decorate your church. You could make these during Sunday school, children's church, or anytime you are teaching kids the Bible.

Autumn

Here are some Bible crafts for fall and the harvest season. Think pumpkins and colorful leaves. There are projects for Luke 10:2, Hebrews 13:8, and Isaiah 40:8.

Halloween and Thanksgiving are fall holidays that kids can get excited about. It is always fun to get together with family and friends. Looking for the links, scroll to the holiday section.

Winter

Winter is a time of ice and snow. In both Psalm 51:7 and Isaiah 1:18 it mentions being whiter than snow. In Job 37:6 the Bible talks about God causing it to snow. Your Sunday school class can make some pictures to go along with the verses. These winter crafts would be great to make after Christmas.

Spring

Have fun making flowers and a butterfly to show biblical concepts for spring. Some verses on the page are Matthew 6:28, Psalms 103:15, and Matthew 13:3-32.

Easter is a spring holiday. See below for the pages related to this holiday.

Holiday Sunday School Crafts for Kids

Kids are always excited about the holidays, especially Christmas. Use their excitement to help teach about Jesus and the Bible. Some holidays are directly related to the Bible, such as Christmas and Easter.

Others, such as Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day, we can teach Christian concepts such as gratitude and love.

Christmas

Kids love Christmas. They see pretty light displays and a decorated tree with gifts underneath. They are asked what they want Santa to bring them. As Sunday school teachers, we need to help them understand the real meaning.

Make nativity crafts to decorate a table, wall, or tree. Some are appropriate for preschoolers.
Make 3D ornaments that show your love for Jesus.

Easter

Kids like going on egg hunts and getting candy for Easter. Before the hunt or maybe after, let's make some Christian Easter crafts to remember that Jesus died and rose again.

An important day during the Easter celebration is Palm Sunday. Make a palm leaf, the road to Jerusalem, and a donkey.

Make cross crafts during Easter or anytime you are talking about the death of Jesus. There are six different crosses that you can make.

Send your friends an empty tomb card to show that Jesus is risen.

The free Easter printables are quick and easy. Use a template to make a paper palm leaf. Make a place mat for depicting the Last Supper. Or color a stained-glass cross. Make finger puppets and then tell the story of the empty tomb. Or make an Easter card. Another activity uses symbols to show the events leading to the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Valentine's Day

Because the Bible talks a lot about love, don't wait until Valentine's Day to do these crafts. Do the projects anytime you are talking about loving others or that God loves us.

Christian Valentine's Day crafts will show that God loves us and we should love others. You will find crafts for Bible verses such as John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 13, John 15:12, Ephesians 3:17 Matthew 22:37-39, and Proverbs 17:17.

What better time to tell your class that God is love but on Valentine's Day. This page covers the verses: John 3:16, Roman 5:5, Romans 5:8, and 1 John 4:9-11.

Mother's Day

Another holiday where we can show love is Mother's Day. You will find ways to honor your mom or learn about special women in the Bible.

Father's Day

Dad also has a special day. Let's honor dad with these special Father's Day crafts.

Thanksgiving

It is always nice to show gratitude.

Most of the thanksgiving crafts can be done during November. You will find projects for 1 Thessalonians 5:18, 2 Corinthians 9:15, and Psalm 100:4.

Halloween

Not a very Christian holiday, but you could just give thanks for the harvest.

These pumpkin crafts would be great for a fall harvest festival or a Christian Halloween party.

Christian Beliefs and Values

The Bible teaches about different values such as love, forgiveness, giving thanks, and joy. Paul summarized the Christian values in the fruit of the spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23)

As Christians, we also believe certain ideas about God and the Bible.

One of the ideas that Christians believe in is the Trinity. The idea that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one.

Looking for more Bible crafts? You will find crafts for people in the Old and New Testament here. There are crafts for Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, and other Old Testament heroes.
